Messaging Policy
My Family Life helps families organize private events and manage invitations. When a family hosts an event, it can send text-message updates to guests who have agreed to receive them.
Our SMS program
We send transactional text messages about a specific event you were personally invited to — RSVP reminders, updates to event details, and announcements from your host. We do not send marketing or promotional messages, and we never sell or share your phone number.
How you opt in
You opt in yourself on your invitation page — enter your mobile number and tick the consent box. Your host can also record your consent after you give them your number and agree to receive event texts. Consent is off by default, and you can opt out from your invitation page or by replying STOP at any time.
Message frequency
Frequency varies by event — typically a small number of messages around the time of an event you're invited to.
Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts at any time. Reply HELP for help. Opting out takes effect immediately.
